Two people were killed and three others were wounded in a shooting Saturday at a festival celebrating Latino culture in Toronto, police said.

All five victims were shot, with two pronounced dead at the scene following the gunfire in the area of St. Claire Avenue and Arlington Avenue during the Salsa on St. Clair festival, Toronto police said.

It was not immediately clear if there was a known suspect or if anyone had been arrested.
Salsa on St. Clair is a two-day festival celebrating Latino culture with music, dance food and art. It started Saturday and was set to run through Sunday on Toronto’s St. Clair Avenue.
