One man is dead and two were wounded in an early morning shooting Sunday in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area.
Police responded to the 400 block of State Street in Clairton at 3:57 a.m. following a report of a "large disturbance" and found "numerous people" fighting in the street, according to the Allegheny County Police Department. Multiple police departments responded to the scene to assist.
At around 4:10 a.m., multiple shots were fired in the crowd, according to Allegheny police. One person was arrested at the scene. No details have been shared about the suspect.
One man was killed in the shooting. The victim fled the area in a car and crashed it on State Street before he died, police said.
Two men were wounded, including one who was shot in the arm and another who was shot in the leg. They have both been taken to nearby hospitals and are in stable condition, according to police.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
